Southwest shook off a lackluster start to defeat croatan 56-13, Northside proved it is legit with a 41-0 win at Clinton, White Oak looked strong in a 53-7 win over West Brunswick, Richlands pulled off its greatest win of the season in the form of a 23-20 victory at East Duplin, Jacksonville picked up a huge 35-12 win over Laney, Topsail earned a big 14-13 win over previously unbeaten Lakewood and Jones Senior garnered its second win while Swansboro lost to South Lenoir.
