Both Sides of the Ball

I have seen or heard reports that four area soccer players have been named to the N.C. Coaches Association East-West All-Star games in July, but I have not the official list.

Therefore, I will wait until it is official to do a story on the honorees. They would be Jacksonville’s Klay Davis, Swansboro’s Christian Rhue and Carrie Dail and White Oak’s Stephanie Rose.

Additionally, it is official that Rose and Dail will play in the Clash of the Carolinas, an all-star game also in July between the best in N.C. against the best in S.C.
